Memories of life in a small town in N. Ireland
This is the journal of my mother, Molly Graham, née Swenarton. Her handwritten document was found by my brother Frank when clearing our parents’ house, long after they had passed away. It lay undiscovered for at least twenty years. Frank made me a photocopy and, finally, after a further ten years, I have got around to reproducing it in the form of this book for the wider family and friends to enjoy.
Mother started the journal in 1982 but stopped writing it in 1983 when she got to the point in her story where she needed to write about her much loved parents, Jack and Teenie. She found this a very hard thing to do and needed to take a three year break before picking up her pen once more. I’m very glad she did because I found her account of her father’s life to be moving and inspirational. Sadly, she never got around to writing in any detail about her mother.

This book is on a pdf file so it can be viewed either on a computer or a tablet. I think it looks better when viewed on a tablet as you can quickly rescale the photographs and see the details more clearly.
How to download
